Duval Sand Away is a complete sand treatment for horses that helps remove sand from the intestines efficiently and in a controlled manner. This formula is more effective than loose psyllium seeds: the pellet form ensures that the psyllium only becomes active in the intestines , where it has its maximum effect. The combination of psyllium , chia seeds , lithothamnium , lupine , anise , and nutritional clay supports intestinal function , the mucus layer , the binding and buffering capacity , and the restoration of intestinal flora .

Sand Away was developed for horses at risk for sand accumulation , who regularly lick sand , or whose fecal analysis reveals sand residue. Thanks to the strong water-binding capacity of psyllium and the complementary effects of the other ingredients, Sand Away forms a natural gel that removes sand and contributes to healthy digestion .

This formula is perfectly suited to preventative management for horses kept in sandy paddocks, poor pastures, or bare areas. Sand Away offers a complete treatment focused on safety, effectiveness , and practicality .
