    Pregnant mares..

The period a mare is pregnant can generally be divided into two parts: the first eight months and the last three months. During the first eight months of pregnancy, a mare's usual ration is often sufficient. If you have a healthy pasture, fresh grass often contains the necessary nutrients, such as vitamin E. In the last three months, the foal experiences a significant growth spurt in the mare's uterus. During this growth spurt, the foal receives milk and nutrients from the mare through the bloodstream. These nutrients are essential for growth. This growth spurt demands a great deal of energy from the mare, so proper support during this period is essential to meet its energy needs and obtain the necessary nutrients. Mares that conceive early in the year and therefore foal early often don't have access to (sufficient) fresh grass. Because dried roughage often isn't enough, we've developed a product to provide pregnant and lactating mares with highly absorbable nutrients that also boost their immune system . Duval Mom Support is our new product specifically for pregnant and lactating mares .

The mare is in top sport mode!

Duval Mom Support contains minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus , which are highly absorbable and contribute to the development of a strong skeleton and dense bone structure. Foals also have an increased need for these minerals from 8 months onwards.

Mom Support can be fed in addition to your mare's daily ration to provide extra support during pregnancy and provide her with additional vitamins, minerals, and proteins. Mom Support was tested on several mares last year, and the mares in the test panel proved to maintain excellent weight , have shiny coats , and perform noticeably more jumps for joy .

    In short, happy moms!

    Lactation period

After the foal is born, its energy and protein needs increase dramatically, doubling their normal levels. In the first few days, milk production is 8 to 20 liters per day. Lactation therefore demands a lot of energy from the mare. A protein deficiency can lead to reduced milk production. So, until the foal begins feeding independently in addition to its mother's milk after weeks or months, Mom Support can help your mare meet this increased energy requirement .
